American Airways

Air is everywhere and it is powerful. Children learn the physics of air at the Great American Airways exhibit – the largest of its kind in the world! Even though air is invisible, it is very important for many things that we do in life. From the air we breathe to the energy harnessed from wind turbines, air makes our lives easier. By using a clear, pneumatic tube system and colorful scarves and balls, Children can experiment with air flow and learn about the power of air. Visitors can choose the object and change the path to see who can reach the top exit first. Every object has a different mass and shape that will affect how quickly it travels through the tubes. It’s all about the physics of air and having a fun time while learning!
