Having a membership with the museum comes with special perks. Members are eligible to host their child’s birthday party at CMOM for a fee. If you do not have a membership and want to reserve the party room, please purchase your membership at least two weeks before the date of your party.
Reservation staff will review the policies, procedures and contract with you. Once we have a signed contract and valid credit card on file, your party date will be reserved. You will have access to the party room the day of your event.
We want you to experience a fun and carefree party experience. Any violation of museum rules and policies can lead to your membership privileges being revoked.

Cost & Guests
Party price is $300. The full cost of your party is due at the time of booking your reservation. We only accept credit cards and cash for birthday parties (no checks!). There are no refunds. Price includes one crown for the birthday child.
Optional add on: 30 Memphis Grand Carousel tokens for $50.
Birthday parties include up to 30 guests. Due to fire marshal rules, the party room will only hold a maximum of 30 people. If you have anyone show up past the 30-guest maximum, they will not be allowed in the museum unless they pay a $15 birthday party admission fee - please let everyone on your guest list know this in advance so there are no surprises. Guests may not use their museum membership to attend a party; all guests will be counted toward the total number of guests. To avoid misunderstandings, we strongly suggest that you do not invite more than 30 people to your party.
Party price does not include food, cups, plates, forks, etc. You will have to supply your own cake, ice cream, drinks and snacks. There is no cooking allowed in the museum. Please limit your food choices to snacks or prepared foods such as pizza.
The museum and our grounds are private property. No part of our grounds or property may be used for private birthday parties or events without prior reservations. Areas inside and outside including picnic tables may not be used by individuals or groups for serving birthday cakes, cupcakes, parties or private events for any reason. All special events and birthday parties must be booked and paid for in advance!
